Our mission

The Awards Gala MDA was created to celebrate Montreal Djs for their accomplishments during the previous year. We want to do and know more about their world and show their achievements. We only honour the disc jockey in the Montreal area and surroundings. The Djs are unconsciously ''therapists'' the most requested of our society and that is why it is important to celebrate their contributions.

A bright future

Since the launch of the website in November last year, the MDA has received more than 300 000 visits. Not to mention that only in 30 days more than 8,000 Internet users voted for their favourite disc jockey. It is important to emphasize on the fact that everything was done without publicity and only through the network of Facebook.

Among the 300 guests last year, we could see the faces of the most important people in the city in various fields such as music, nightlife and especially the media, including the Journal de Montreal that gave us half of a page the very next day.

This new edition is the most important because after the nervousness surrounding the first, the second will put on the sails on what will be the most appreciated Award show in a city known worldwide for the ''Night Life.''
